Choose from 300 built-in stitches in addition to 100 alphabet characters and 7-one-step buttonholes. This machine comes equipped with all the stitches you need for quilting, crafting, and garment making. Sew straight stitches, decorative stitches, zig-zags, eyelets, smocking, applique, pintucks, fringing, and more! The Janome 5300QDC-G even allows you to create and program up to 50 stitch pattern combinations.

One-touch Buttons

Equipped with seven quick access buttons, the 5300QDC-G allows you to switch tasks smoothly and effortlessly. You will find the following options along the front of the machine: start stop, reverse stitch, auto-lock stitch, needle up down, auto thread cutter, twin needle, and a speed control slider. You can quickly and easily control your machine with all these convenient features.

15 Needle Positions

Place your needle at the precise starting point of your design when sewing decorative stitches, applique, or free-motion quilting with the 15 different needle positions. Needle Threader

The built-in needle threader easily threads your needle without eyestrain, allowing you to start sewing quickly. Pass the thread through the thread guide, pull the threader down, return the lever to its original position, pull the thread through your needle, and you are ready to go.

Built-in Storage

Detach the built-in storage compartment to transform the sewing bed into a free-arm sewing machine, making cuffs, hems, and circular projects more accessible. The removable sewing bed doubles as storage space for accessories. Pack away bobbins, presser feet, seam rippers, and more for storage or travel.

Drop Feed

Located under the free arm bed on the back of the machine is a drop feed lever. Follow the direction of the arrow to raise or lower the feed dogs for free-motion sewing on the 5300QDC-G.

Presser Foot Lift

This machine features a presser foot lifter that raises the presser foot approximately 1 4 (0.7cm) higher, making it easy to change out different feet or sew on thicker material such as denim or fleece. This works great for sewing multi-layer projects as well!

DROP-IN BOBBIN

Bobbin changes are effortless with the quick-set drop-in style bobbin. Drop your bobbin in the machine, pull your threads through the slot, and let your 5300QDC-G do the rest.

BOBBIN WINDER

This machine has an auto-declutch bobbin winder, making sewing a breeze. You never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine stops when it detects that it is full. Keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect thread color for every project!

LCD Screen

The 5300QDC-G features a user-friendly LCD screen that displays the stitch pattern, mode, pattern number, recommended foot, stitch width, and stitch length. You can also use the LCD touch panel to edit, program, and save stitch combinations.

7-Piece Feed Dog

This model has a 7-piece feed dog system that ensures a consistent, uniform feed on every fabric type. Whether the material is thick or thin, the 7-piece feed dog will constantly contact the fabric, warranting even feeding and clean stitches.

Snap-on Presser Feet

Easily switch between presser feet using the included snap-on presser foot adapter. Press the lever to release the presser foot, then to install another one, line it up just underneath the foot holder and lower the presser bar until the foot clicks into place. You are ready to sew as soon as the foot clicks into place, so no more messing with a small presser foot screw when going from one foot to another.
