16 Built-in Stitches

With 16 stitches to choose from, Elna s em16 offers some of the most commonly used stitch patterns that you might need. Zigzag, utility, overcasting, and straight stitches can all be found on this machine. Also included is a four-step buttonhole that allows you to sew the perfect-sized button every time without any hassle.

MANUAL STITCH TENSION, WIDTH, AND LENGTH

Along the front of the machine are three dials that enable you to control your tension, stitch width, and stitch length. These dials are easily adjusted to create perfectly balanced stitches based on your fabric type and weight.

REVERSE BUTTON

Use the reverse stitch button to secure your stitches. This feature is excellent at preventing your ends from fraying or unraveling. Hold down the reverse stitch lever to use this button, and your machine will automatically sew in reverse. With the extra large lever on the em16, it s more accessible to reach while still being able to focus on your project.

BUILT-IN NEEDLE THREADER

Effortlessly thread your em16 with little more than the flip of a switch. This handy little feature helps to reduce the strain on your eyes and allows you to start sewing faster.

Free Arm & Storage

The free arm is essential for hemming sleeves, pant legs, and other cylindrical items. Remove the auxiliary bed to access the free arm. Located inside the bed of the machine is a convenient storage compartment! You can keep presser feet, seam rippers, thread, and tools in this storage area. This storage space makes it easier to carry your notions to classes and guild meetings!

BUILT-IN BOBBIN WINDER

The em16 comes with a built-in bobbin winder that makes sewing a snap. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect color for every project. Push the bobbin winder to the appropriate spot, where it then locks in, and then use your foot control to wind the bobbin. When the bobbin is full, pull the bobbin off, and it s ready to go.

Drop Feed

The Elnita em16 has a built-in lever that, when switched, automatically lowers the feed dogs so you can quickly switch to free-motion quilting.

DROP-IN BOBBIN

Bobbin changes are effortless with the quick-set drop-in bobbin. Drop your bobbin in the machine, pull your threads through the slot, and let your em16 do the rest.

Snap-on Feet

Change your presser foot in seconds with snap-on presser feet. You can switch from a straight stitch foot to a blind hem foot without ever reaching for a screwdriver.

PRESSER FOOT LIFT

Elna a em16 features an extra-high presser foot lift. This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot.

25-Year Limited Warranty

Elna will ensure your machine s performance for 25 years from when the machine is purchased. Coverage is limited to repair or necessary replacement of parts caused by defects in quality and materials. Faults in electrical components will be for five years. One year of free labor by an Authorized Elna Retailer is included, usually by the dealership where you purchased your machine.
