These super bright lights are located on the arm or the machine and over the needle. The LED bulbs don t put off much heat and last subsantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs.

3.6 LED Screen

The 3.6 LED Screen displays all your relevant sewing date. It shows you what foot you re using, your stitch selection, stitch width, and length. If you re sewing and there is a problem, your display screen will tell you exactly what it is.

Top Loading Bobbin

With the top-loading bobbin system, it doesn t take but a second to change out your bobbins. The one-step needle conversion plates allow you to change your bobbin with little more than the press of a button. This way, you spend more time sewing and less time winding bobbins.

Easy Operation Keys

Enjoy the convenience of one-touch buttons on your machine. The ef72 has a start stop key, reverse, auto-lock, needle up down, thread cutter key, a speed control slider, and a presser foot lifter. Besides the one-touch buttons, the machine also includes multiple function keys: Mode Key, Stitch Display, Twin Needle, Mirror Image, Elongation, Bobbin Winding, Stitch Width Adjusting Dial, Stitch Lenght Adjusting Dial, Folder FS, Arrow Keys, Startover, Lockout, Set Key, Numerals, Clear Key, and Memory Key.

ONE STEP NEEDLE PLATE CONVERSION

With the help of the one-step needle plate conversion button, it is easy to switch between the three provided needle plates (regular plate, straight stitch plate, and professional-grade needle plate). Push the button on the corner of the sewing bed to detach the old needle plate and snap in the new one.

ADJUSTABLE FOOT PRESSURE

Sew professional-level stitches with the help of the adjustable presser foot pressure. Turn the dial along the top of the machine to adjust your pressure according to the type of fabric you are sewing. Elna recommends that you set the machine to 3 for regular sewing. Your LED screen will also suggest what pressure you should use depending on the stitch and foot selected.

Manual Tension

Fully manual stitch settings allow you to have control of your stitches. The setting dial is easily adjusted to create a perfectly balanced stitch based on your fabric type and weight. Your LED screen will also recommend specific tension settings for some feet and stitch patterns. If the bobbin thread appears on the right side of your fabric, then the needle tension is too tight, and if your needle thread is too loose, it will appear on the wrong side of the material.

Elna will ensure your machine s performance for 25 years from when the machine is purchased. Coverage is limited to repair or necessary replacement of parts caused by defects in quality and materials. Faults in electrical components will be for five years. One year of free labor by an Authorized Elna Retailer is included, usually by the dealership where you purchased your machine.
